Dr. Wendy Switalski founded Alliance Hearing Care with a commitment to bring the highest combination of knowledge, service, and technology to her community. Throughout her career, Wendy has been known for providing compassionate audiological care while upholding the highest level of professional standards.

After obtaining a Master of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado, Dr. Switalski directed an audiology department within in ENT physicians group, and provided support to audiologists and surgeons throughout the Midwest as a representative for a cochlear implant company. This provided her expertise in working with a broad range of hearing disorders and advanced hearing technologies. In 2007, she earned her doctorate degree in audiology (Au.D.) from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry - School of Audiology. In addition to her audiology background, Dr. Switalski also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Saginaw Valley State University.

Dr. Switalski is active in both professional and community organizations, and currently serves on the boards of both the Michigan Academy of Audiology and the Rotary Club of Waterford. Since 2007, she has been traveling  to the South Pacific territory of American Samoa to provide audiological care and consulting services to the Helping Hands Early Intervention Program and LBJ Tropical Medical Center, focusing on the hearing needs of children from birth to age 3. Dr. Switalski holds audiology licenses in the State of Michigan and the Territory of American Samoa.
